Yannis Felix and Michel Verdon opened the door of what would become an iconic French spot in the Nation’s capital. Two decades and a global pandemic later, Bistrot du Coin is still thriving, offering some of the most classic French recipes in the DMV area. Caribbean Superior was founded in August 2000 on the passion for food and bringing a taste of Jamaica to those native to the country, and those that were not. It was started as a result of the passion of the owner, Patrick Martin, whose lifelong vision and dreams became a reality when he opened up his business. Celebrity Delly is celebrating 50 years of service in Falls Church, VA. Family-owned and operated it has been serving the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas for over 50 years. The first location began in 1975 on Nebel Street in Rockville, MD. Chuck Rossler set out to create amazing New York quality Jewish Deli for all of the DMV to experience and love.

Setting trends since 1975, Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe is a full-line European bakery and deli that offers the best of both continents. When Wolfgang Büchler came to Washington from Heidelberg, Germany, he couldn’t speak a word of English and never imagined he would be designing cakes for Presidents, Ambassadors and so many of the wonderful people living in the DC area.
